ClaverackLanding

ClaverackLanding, a new ensemble series of the Columbia Festival Orchestra, will be in residence at Club Helsinki Hudson beginning this fall.

ClaverackLanding concerts will feature the virtuoso musicians of the CFO, and also present highly acclaimed guest ensembles.

The vision of Artistic Director Gwen Gould is to draw listeners into a sonic world that extends from the earliest ensemble music of the Renaissance to the far reaches of our contemporary musical imagination. Programs will feature nationally and internationally-known guest soloists as well as talented emerging artists, including promising musicians at the conservatory level.

“The idea of performing classical music in an intimate club venue, in a relaxed restaurant-style setting, is a truly exciting opportunity for classical music enthusiasts and adventurous new listeners,” says Gwen Gould. “This unique venue allows for a close connection with music in a way that is not experienced in a traditional concert hall.”

For more than 20 years, Gould and the CFO have attracted audiences from the tri-state area with exceptional performances and successful student education programs.

Now, ClaverackLanding will take listeners on a truly new excursion in music.
